Why Bamboo?

The climate change is not a secret and everyday we see humans and animals face new challenges for survival. Toilet paper has a big environmental impact and it's necessary to create increase awareness about different ways to eco-friendly options. Bamboo toilet paper is a sustainable solution that helps the planet and the deforestation environmental problem.

According to the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), “bamboo fiber has a much smaller climate impact than fiber from primary forests, but a larger impact than fiber from recycled content”. 

Bamboo is a grass and it grows faster than traditional trees, making it more efficient to plant and a renewable resource. It regenerates quickly, and some types of bamboo can grow up to 36 inches per day. This leads to a decrease of carbon emission by 30%.

The shorter life cycle of bamboo allows it to produce more trees to meet the demand for toilet paper. The process of creating bamboo toilet paper is also less harsh on the environment than manufacturing regular toilet paper.
